About Advanced

The Advanced Class plane requires knowledge and experience from primarily mechanical engineering students, as well as electrical engineering students. The objective of the Advanced Class aircraft is to drop a three pound humanitarian package from a minimum altitude of 100 feet onto a target. The plane is to weigh less than eight pounds, and carry nearly fifteen pounds of static payload. In addition, there must be a live camera & data feed, including altitude and wind speed data, to the ground during the duration of the flight.
